Dr. Alise Beccaria, DAc, LAc


She earned both her Master of Science and Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Dr. Beccaria completed over 3500 hours of training in acupuncture technique, diagnosis and treatment, Chinese medicine theory, as well as many components of Western medicine. Prior to studying acupuncture, Dr. Beccaria earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at SUNY Albany in Albany, NY.


Dr. Beccaria is licensed to practice Acupuncture by the North Carolina Acupuncture Board and is board certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  She is certified in Level 1 Acupuncture for the Cancer Patients by the world-renowned cancer center, IMS/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.


She is also the current President/Education Chair for the NCSAAM (North Carolina Acupuncture and Asian Medicine). Currently enrolled in Functional Medicine Program at School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM). Dr Beccaria is a Credentialed Provider through the Department of Veterans Affair Community Care and Optum. She is passionate about serving this demographic.

Dr. Beccaria enjoys attending advanced continuing education courses to learn and incorporate new techniques into her practice. Some of her recent courses include:

Dr. Beccaria, who is a certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance, maintains certifications in Yoga for Cancer Patients and Yoga for Athletes and is working towards her 500-Hour Yoga Medicine Certification.


She enjoys spending her time teaching  and taking yoga classes as well as walking and  hiking with her dog Liam.
